I have provided in home care for a few seniors in past years. I have experience in nurses'aide work in hospitals, including on a Geriatric ward for over a year. From 2009 to 2012, I provided caregiving and companionship for my 90 years + mother, with meal preparation, bathing and dressing assistance, medication reminders, medical appointments, grocery shopping and errands, taking her for walks and drives, and sharing conversations and laughs. I find human interactions and relationships to be the most valuable part of life, and seniors offer an amazing perspective, opinions and values that I truly enjoy and learn from. I'm compassionate and love to help others. My entire career has been in human services, primarily working with children and families. I like being able to make a positive contribution to another's day and life.

Mary is a very caring and compassionate woman who excels in communication skills. She is very likable and enjoys working with children and families. Mary is very dedicated to her profession and strive for excellence. She is punctual, dependable and has a strong attention to detail. She is a great problem solver and extremely patient with others. Her "people skills are admirable". I would highly recommend Mary to positions that require care, detail, and compassion. It was a pleasure supervising her.
