About Mary

My name is Mary and I adore children; I was the eldest of four siblings and upwards of five cousins, and as such have been involved in childcare since I was one myself. My first joy in life is being able to bring a smile to face of a child - the next is art, and thankfully they often go hand-in-hand. I've been able to exercise these passions by working with the Sioux Falls School District in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as an Assistant Site Coordinator for Kids Inc at a local elementary school. I have been praised for my classroom management skills, my conflict resolution, and for maintaining a respectful and efficient group environment while still allowing for emotional honesty & availability. Further, I have background in retail and the service industry, so I'm well versed in patience, day-to-day responsibilities, and a wide variety of basic cleaning and cooking methods.
