About Mary

Hi my name is Mary and I'm currently a Kindergarten special education teacher and I have been teaching for 6 years. I'm certified to teach birth-6th grade in general education, special education, and literacy. I graduated from Le Moyne College with my Bachelors in Science where I majored in psychology and I received my Masters degree from Ualbany in Literacy. As a special education teacher I have taught in a variety of settings (private, city, and rural) and a wide range of students with disabilities ( students with sever disabilities, mild disabilities, ADHD/ADD, behavioral needs, social emotional needs, autism, etc). My favorite part of my job is building relationships not only with my students but their families as well. I have always had a passion for teaching and love what I do!
