About Mary

I am a part time student at Akron Law. I am graduating December of 2022. I graduated from Kent State University with honors with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2018. I am not formally trained to teach, however I am very passionate about learning and education. I am currently a Diversity in Leadership Fellow through the Law and Leadership Institute. As a fellow, I work with the class as a whole and with students individually. With the underclassmen, we teach policy and the legal system while developing leadership skills. With the upperclassmen, we focus on SAT prep, college planning, and resume writing. I am also a Girl Scout volunteer which required me to teach the troop about the different levels of government in order for the girls to earn their Democracy badge. In an effort to keep the girls engaged, I came up with fun activities they had to complete. I am enthusiastic about learning and here to help in anyway that I can.
