About Mary

Hello!! Hi! My name is Mary and just let me start by saying that I absolutely adore the elderly! They have the best stories and always the best people in my opinion, to be around. I have been working in geriatric care for going on 3 years now. I spent 2 years working at a Beehive homes directly with about 12 residents. While at the same time, I was also working and becoming good friends with a woman named Mary E. Who is 97 years young ha ha. I was going to her home Monday though Friday working and giving care. I had breakfast with her every morning and taught her some yoga and tai chi, I read books with her, and took her out on the town at times. She showed me so much and has brought a lot into my life. I'm still good friends with her and her family to this day. I also spent about 8 months as an activities director at Elite homes, another private owned care facility. Where I did arts/crafts, taught yoga/tai chi, and some massage. I left to pursue more one on one care:)
