About Mary

Hello, my name is Mary and I am a former middle school social studies and science teacher who is looking for a part-time babysitting opportunity. I have experience caring for children as young as 6 months old and as old as 15 years old, I am a Red Cross certified caregiver, and I LOVE being around kids! :) While working as a teacher for 7 years in Charlotte, NC, I nannied and tutored for several families part-time. Prior to that, I also held caregiving and tutoring positions during college in Chapel Hill, NC. I have experience tutoring in K-12 social studies and language arts courses, K-6 science and math, and Latin (all levels). I love reading, being outside, playing games, making crafts, and going on all kinds of outings. I now work from home as a curriculum designer for Discovery Education, and I have a flexible schedule that is able to accommodate part-time childcare needs.
