I hired Mary through Care.com two years ago and she was with our family until my mother died just a couple of weeks ago. If you are looking to normalize your life and household while taking care of your mother or children, I would highly recommend hiring Mary to help you. She is simply wonderful and made it possible for my mother to live her last years at home. My mother was in her 90's and had mid to late stage Alzheimer's disease. I couldn't do it all myself and was not successful in finding a suitable aide from agencies. My mother was belligerent to everyone and becoming impossible to take care of at home. Then a miracle happened - Mary O. Mary's own mother had died recently and she just understood what we were going through and what laid ahead of us. Every morning for two years she came to our house and got my mother washed, dressed and in a good mood and talking and eating. In addition, suddenly the kitchen was clean and laundry done. She also spent a lot of time just helping me figure out what we needed to do to keep mom comfortable. Mary is entirely reliable and just simply never did anything intrusive or bothersome in any way.
