About Maryn

Hello! My name is Maryn, and I'm currently a student at UNCC studying psychology with a minor in education! I take a playful, development-focused approach to childcare because I truly believe that play is how kids learn best. I grew up Montessori-educated and really connect with that philosophy, so I love bringing those ideas (independence, gentle encouragement, and hands-on learning) into my babysitting. I'm a patient, empathetic person who enjoys being outside, making art, and playing games. For the past two summers, I've worked at a Montessori school's summer camp, and I also have experience in an elementary school's extended day program. I'm committed to creating a fun, supportive, and nurturing environment where children can explore, grow, and feel truly cared for. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!
