I am a loyal full time employee at VCU where I work for a grant as an instructional designer. On my off hours I am looking for extra opportunities within my community. My availability would be on weekends my children are at their dad's house. Previously, I held a license in special education but let it expire after accepting an opportunity in eLearning. I have a masters degree in Adult Learning. I am a mother to 2 children, ages 3 and 11. Both of my children have Autism. I see disability as another layer of diversity. I would love to assist your family in gaining some extra "me" or "us" time. I would love to meet your family and see if we are a good match. I know it takes a great deal of faith and trust to feel safe placing your children in someone else's care - even when only a short while. Mary saved the day for us at the last minute and our kids had so much fun with her! She brought fun craft supplies and a puzzle for them, and they had a great time. She’s friendly and responsible and we are so glad to know her!
