About Mary

Hi my name is Mary. I have been a certified special education teacher for 26 years. I have taught most subjects, and worked with students with all sorts of needs and abilities. My style is to be respectful, patient, compassionate, and consistent. My overall strength is the passion I have for helping kids realize their potential and I have many strategies to help them better understand their true capabilities and to engage them in ways that are not "boring". I am easy-going, and very motivated to find what is best for each individual. When I was teaching, my door was always opened to every student for whatever their immediate need was. My heart is always trying to do what is best for kids.
