Mari M. did an exceptional job of caring for our newborn son and performing varied household duties. It is truly difficult to entrust the care of your newborn child to someone else, but Mari easily gained our trust and respect. Mari exceeded our expectations, and more importantly was able to make good judgements and decisions on her own. We always felt our son was in safe and reliable hands. She was always punctual, showing up early and ready. One of the reasons we hired Mari was her passion for early childhood education. She made sure the days were full of opportunities for learning. She spoke to our son constantly, narrating and reading books. She was very hands-on while playing with him. Mari put her heart into everything she did. When we expressed interest in teaching our son some basic sign language before he could speak, she got a children’s book of signs and helped to teach him. Mari’s dedication is apparent. It’s no surprise she has maintained great relationships with our family as well as the other families she has cared for. Mari is a great communicator. She would give us updates and ask thoughtful questions that showed she cared about her job and the well-being of our son. It was easy to have open communication with Mari about mutual expectations, changes, and suggestions. We strongly recommend Mari for employment. Her integrity and character are of the highest caliber.
