About Marylou

I started working with kids when I was 12 years old, and I obtained my certification in babysitting and child CPR. I have worked with dozens of families continuously over the past 9 years, babysitting children from less than a year old to 12 years old. Over the past three summers, I have nannied for the same two children (ages 4 and 6 the first summer) from 9-5 every day. In my spare time, I like to read, paint, and go for walks with my dogs. I love to try new crafts, and my favorite thing is to engage kids in learning new crafts and educational games with me. For me, learning is playing, and playing is learning! One thing you should know about me is that I will never be on my phone around your children-- my goal is to make them feel seen, heard, safe, and cared for. I'm so excited to get to know you and your children! :)
