About Mary

I am a former teacher who resigned to take care of my mother when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. After she passed away, I decided on a change of pace, completed CNA training, and worked in a nursing home. After a year, I switched to one-on-one in-home caregiving. I worked for a family taking care of their disabled daughter for over 3 years. When they moved too far to commute, I worked with other local families, both child care and senior care. While caring for their loved ones, I have been told that I'm "a member of our family"... their words. I don't just work for a paycheck. I love what I do and I treat others as I would hope to be treated if the roles were reversed. I have a strong work ethic, am punctual and honest, and I am very loving. I'm smoke free and drug free and I can provide references. I hope you will give me a chance to prove what a great caregiver I am. Thank you.
