I strongly recommend Mary for both childcare and tutoring. Mary is an extraordinarily patient, kind, engaging and reliable person. After a messy year of educating my daughters at home during the COVID school closures, Mary came to our rescue. She patiently worked with my 10 year old daughter two days a week, and creatively sought ways to help her focus and engage with the curriculum. She communicated clear expectations and created fun opportunities beyond the assigned materials to learn about science. She brainstormed with me on ways to help my daughter, who was DONE with learning at home, overcome challenges. Mary also took walks and played with my daughter. She clearly cares about children, and knows how to meet their needs. She provided a light during a difficult time, and I strongly recommend her.
