I have 5 years volunteer (non paid ) experience at Community Bible Study. I enjoyed 3-4-year-old children so much I stayed with them for five years. With 4 to 10 in my classroom, I learned to adjust according to the needs and personality of each child as an individual. You can't play and engage a shy, sensitive child the same way as a self confident and "never met a stranger" child. It's not just what you say, but how you say it that children are quick to pick up on. I think I am intuitive when it comes to children; adept at matching my child care techniques to the child in my charge. I know the time restraints parents are under today. I free up parent's workload so that when they get home they can relax a little and know their children are safe and have spent the day with someone who has engaged with them as their playmate, teacher & comforter. I am happily married with two grown children. I have reliable, insured transportation.
