I am a CT Dual Certified (Elementary and Special Education) Teacher seeking to exit work as a public-school (middle school) special education teacher and transition to work as a caregiver for a family with young children. I am energetic, playful and fun, but also have several years of experience working in classrooms, moving kids from one activity to another and using positive discipline to help them grow in many aspects of their development with a positive experience. In raising my own children, I have come to truly embrace all aspects of home life and actually enjoy helping with homework, teaching how to read, preparing meals, clean-up, hosting playdates and driving kids around to their various afterschool activities.
