About Mary-catherine

My name is Mary-Catherine, and I'm an elementary educator with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Special Education. I have experience working with children across a variety of ages, both in childcare settings and in elementary school classrooms, and I love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow! I currently work in education and have experience supporting students with a variety of learning styles, academic needs, and behavioral needs. Whether it's helping with homework, tutoring in early literacy and math, practicing reading skills, doing a fun after-school activity, or providing evening childcare, I love making time with kids both enjoyable and meaningful. I'm patient, dependable, nurturing, and comfortable adapting to each child's individual needs. I understand the importance of keeping parents informed and creating an environment where children feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
