Maryann is an amazing nanny, so much so that she has become family to us over the past year. She is smart, caring, kind, loyal, and an incredible person. I can say with confidence I don't know anyone who is more hardworking than she is. From the beginning she's gone above and beyond to take care of our son. Being across the country from any family and working full time, we depend solely on her to help with him and she's never let us down. She's never once called in, she's always flexible, and very dependable. The selflessness and love she has for her own children is palpable, a trait I believe makes her the best nanny I could have ever asked for my son. She doesn't just feed and change my toddler like you'd expect any caregiver to... she sings to him, rocks him to sleep, laughs with him, teaches him, and is proud of him in a way only a family member would be. I know she is one in a million. It is only because of our relocation to another country that Maryann is no longer with us. And I tried to convince her to come with no avail! (I'll keep trying!) I am crushed to lose her and envy anyone who has the honor to bring her into their home and have her take care of someone they love.
