Hello! My name is Mary and I am currently a teacher in Jefferson Public Schools. I am thrilled to be going into my 10th year of teaching this year! After graduating with honors from College of Charleston in 2011, I taught 5th grade in South Carolina for 5 years. I then took a year off teaching and moved back to my hometown in New Jersey where I nannied and tutored at JEI Learning Center teaching reading to 3rd-6th grade students. I moved to Colorado in 2017 and I have been teaching 5th grade in Jeffco ever since! I have experience teaching all ability-level students including those with IEPs, 504s, (identified learning differences) and ALPs (gifted/talented). I love having the opportunity to work 1-1 with students, identifying their strengths and areas of need, and discovering the best methodologies for their unique learning style. I can't wait to meet your child and help them grow and succeed as a learner!
