About Mary Alice

I am hold a degree in Elementary/middle school education and worked as a middle school teacher for 4 years before starting a family. I continued working as a substitute teacher in our local school systems for several years while my children were in school and have experience working with all grade levels. I later worked as a facilitator and program director for a local non-profit diversity program that encourages elementary children to understand the cultural similarities & differences of their peers at school and in their communities. During my time with "Calling All Colors', I had the opportunity to work with other teachers, administrators and students in two area school districts and develop relationships with people of all races, ethnic backgrounds and various ages. This experience, along with my own self-awareness, has challenged me to continually look within, to work along-side and develop healthy relationships personally and professionally, to which I am extremely grateful for.
