About Martha

Hi there! My name is Caroline, and I am a licensed professional counselor by trade. I am first aid- and CPR-certified and speak French on a conversational level. My educational background combined with my years of experience as a babysitter and nanny make me especially well-suited to caring for children (and assisting families as a whole). I'm well-versed in a child's mental, emotional, and physical development. I was a long-term babysitter for two local families with pre-school to elementary-age children. As a college student, I served as an afternoon caretaker for an Italian family. I picked their 8-year-old daughter up from school, assisted her with homework, and took her to local libraries, museums, and parks. Because she was an ESL student, we focused on reading comprehension skills, ensuring she was able to keep up with her class. In 2016, I worked abroad as a live-in nanny in Vienna, Austria. I cared for two children ages 5 and 7 for 35 hours/week.
