About Martha

Hi! Im a recent engineering grad who is passionate about working with students. I have experience working as an academic coach at The Ohio State University and 2 years experience K-12 SAT and ACT subjects. I love learning and hope I can share that love with the students I work with :) I'd describe my personality as outgoing and compassionate. I also love finding new ways to explain things and teach as I feel it makes me and my students understand subjects even better. I'm looking for a job that students can be open and honest about what they're struggling. I also appreciate engaged students. You don't have to like the subject but at least if you're willing to try :) I started tutoring actually back in elementary school! Professionally however, I started tutoring in undergrad. In my spare time, I like to read, play music (I play piano and flute!) go on walks, try new foods, crochet and knit One thing you should know about me is I will be honest about your students progress!
