Marta has been a huge help watching our 4 month old son! She is flexible, patient, and goes out of her way to make you feel like family!

Very punctual and attentive and loving to our active 3 year old.  She helped us during a very disruptive time while we were moving and kept our child happy and busy and on schedule.  I  highly recommend Marta.

Marta watched my 3 year old daughter and 5 month old son (now 7 months) over the summer. She did an excellent job and loved my children as her own! She was always on time, in fact she was always at least 5 minutes early. It is evident that she has a heart for children and genuinely cares for those that are in her care. She is kindhearted and understanding if an issue were to arise and for some reason we had to cancel. My little girl even picked up Spanish from Marta and we absolutely loved that! We highly recommend her to anyone looking to hire a full time nanny or part time nanny.

Normally I don't write negative reviews but since this may help another family decide or set expectations,  I want to share my experience with Marta. While Marta is nice, she is probably a better fit for an older child. I have a 4 month old son and she was either not able or not willing to give him the attention and care I expected and wanted from a nanny. The position was meant to be long term but it was clear within two and a half days that we weren't on the same page. I work from home and observed these issues firsthand:
1) Putting my 4 month old to nap on his stomach. 
2) Leaving him to lay on his back on a play mat doing nothing while she sat on a nearby chair looking at her phone.
3) Trying to watch "educational " cartoons with a 4 month old and saying "I guess I've been raising babies the wrong way" when I told her we don't give him any screen time because it's not recommended at his age. 
4) Holding but not talking or interacting with my son for an hour, which is his whole awake time before he needs a nap.
5) Wearing shoes inside the house despite being asked not to.
6) Letting my son cry and scream for 30 minutes and then lie to me and say it was only for 10. My office is next to the nursery and I was in my first meeting with my manager since coming back from maternity leave so I could hear him scream but I couldn't excuse myself and risk looking like I don't have dependable childcare. 
7) Leaving my son in his high chair with toys in front of him while she ate her lunch 10 feet away. He's too young to play on his own. The abandoned look on his face broke my heart. He's only awake for 60-75 minutes between naps, so why she couldn't interact with him while eating or wait to eat during his nap, I don't know.
8) Not following my instructions about having bottles ready, changing his diaper more frequently, and following his nap schedule. 

I don't know if my experience was a fluke in an otherwise great nanny career but my expectations are not unrealistic, despite what Marta said when she left. She has her way of doing things and even though I'm her employer and the child's mother, she still made her disagreement and judgment known. 

 I am very disappointed in how she treated my child. Her other reviews are great so I was shocked that she wouldn't follow basic instructions without commentary and judgment. Example: I asked her to turn off the kid melody music from her phone when  she's getting him ready for a nap because the nap routine is to be in a dark and quiet room. She said "oh its fine, its lullaby music." So I had to repeat my request. This was on her third and final day.

We hired Marta to care for our 3 year old and 3 month old.  She has been great with our children.  She is very attentive and caring, and has a friendly and cheerful disposition. I would definitely recommend her!

Marta watched our daughter with late notice . Was punctual, and flexible. My daughter seemed to really enjoy her self. Marta was excellent with her and we felt she was in great hands. We would definitely hire Marta again!

Meeting Marta has been an absolute blessing to our family! She is trustworthy, reliable, responsible, kind, and an all around wonderful person. Her positive energy and fun-loving personality made it easy for my very shy daughter to feel comfortable in no time. I feel  confident that when my daughter is with Marta, she is happy, safe, active, and loved as though she were her own. I would recommend her a thousand times over, we love her!

Marta has watched my toddler on a few occasions and he was very comfortable with her. Marta has been on time and willing to stay later if need be. She is kind and very detail oriented with schedules. We will be using her in the future.

Marta has cared for my 7-year-old son, and treats him just like he is her own grandson.  She is punctual, caring, and I will absolutely be using her for future child care needs.
