About Marlo

I have been a classroom teacher, assistant principal and ran an afterschool center. I love working with children. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, loving, and kind. I like working with kids because they are full of life and imagination. When you encourage a child to imagine you open the door to the infinite possibilities that life has to offer. I'm looking for a job that gives me flexibility I yet offers the opportunity to share my skills and passions. I started working with kids when I was in high school and my first friend got a car and we would volunteer at the children's village in NY. I am soon to turn 54. So, many decades! I like to talk walks in nature with my 9-month-old puppy. Play in the dirt-garden. Be creative making jewelry and all matter of artisan goodies! Pass time with the people I love! I am an honest and compassionate being and I live in a state of gratitude. My skills include listening, positive reinforcement, redirection.
