About Marleny

I'd describe my personality as conscientious, creative, assertive I like working with kids because it is freeing. I love their openness and eagerness for life. I'm looking for a job that lets me spend time with children and revisit my childhood. I have many interests, hobbies, and experiences that I can share with children. I too can learn many valuable skills such as time management, patience, and confidence building. I started working with kids when my youngest brother was born. I was 18 and quickly learned caring for a baby. In college I picked up babysitting gigs and when my own family started expanding I spent a lot of time caring for nieces. In my spare time I love to read. I spend a lot of time in nature, museums, and creative pursuits. One thing you should know about me is I used to be a teacher. I substituted while in college and after graduation worked at an elementary in the special education department. My skills include tutoring/homework, creativity, time management.
