About Marlene

My name is Marlene, I am a student with a little under a year experience caring for children. My experience comes from caring for a family member with epilepsy and from spending time with a child that is on the spectrum. I've also spent time with other nannies, helping with their children on occasion. These experiences have taught me that children are smart and that they thrive in an environment where there is a balance of discipline and fun. Most of my professional career has been spent in an office. I am pivoting my career and taking a break to finish my BA degree. I am looking for a family that is willing to work with me and trust that I will treat their children like my family. I am flexible on responsibilities, both within the household and the children. I hope to be able to help a family balance their busy home and to make the work a little lighter and little fun.
