Hi! My name is Marlene and I love kids! I enjoy making messy artwork, playing dress up, fighting imaginary monsters and much more. I graduated from Hunter College with a bachelor's in biochemistry and hope to one day work in research involving fertility treatments and solutions. I have never lived anywhere but NYC. This has definitely made me a "city kid" who can navigate the subway and bus system as well as the city with ease. I have babysat for over 15 different families - ages newborn to 12 years old.

Marlene has been with our family and cared for my children through their formative early childhood years, from caring for my son when he was 6 months old, overseeing pick-up and drop-off for both my son and daughter throughout pre-school and elementary school and watching both kids throughout the COVID-19 pandemic (including managing remote school!). While we no longer need full-time childcare, we continue to go to Marlene as our first choice for episodic sitting. She is the total package––responsible, caring, thoughtful, intelligent and someone who you want to welcome into your home as we have done for many years.
