I have worked with young children since 1973 . Grew up in Germany , went to a Technical College for Nursery Nurses from 1970 to 1973 and received my Certification in 1973. Worked in hospitals ( neonatal care ) and child development centers in in Germany as well as in London, UK . After coming to the US ; I worked for 25 years as a preschool and infant center director. I love children and was very involved in the care of the children in the class room. I retired two years ago , love to bicycle and to walk and the outdoors. Would love to have the honor to care for your little one. I am CPR and First Aid certified and also have a current fingerprint clearance (live scan clearance ). My philosophy in caring for children is to give your child a loving , save and educational environment to grow in.

It is truly my honor to write a recommendation for Marlene. She not only is the best nanny you could ever hope for, she is so wonderful that she became a big part of our family. She was our nanny for years before we moved out of state and we were truly sad to leave her. I hired Marlene when I had just given birth to my first child and she was a godsend. Being a new mother, I had many worries and concerns about how to care for this new child. I never once had to worry about leaving my child in her more than capable hands. Besides being our nanny, she was always a phone call away to answer my baby questions. We loved her so much that she stayed with us through all 3 of my pregnancies and she helped me raise my 3 little kiddos. I will always be greatly for the incredible care she gave not only my children, but for the knowledge and skills she taught me as a mother.
