About Markie

Hello! I'm Markie :) I work full time for my family's small business during the week & love to spend some of my free time as an occasional/date night sitter! I graduated from Arizona State University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I left my career as a teacher after 5 years in 2022, I wanted to pursue my dreams of helping my dad's business grow but I missed being around kids every day, so here I am! Whether you're visiting town or want someone to count on for an occasional night out, I'm your girl! Prior to my current job, every job I've had has involved working with kids and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have an extensive background and experience working with tutoring, babysitting, nannying, and teaching children of all ages. I have a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card that allows me to legally work directly with kids in public schools here in Arizona because I have been fingerprinted & had a successfully cleared background check through the state.
