About Markeila

Hello! My name is Markeila, and I am excited to bring my passion for childcare and my academic background in Communicative Sciences and Disorders to a full-time nanny position. I recently graduated from New York University, where I honed my skills in understanding and supporting children's communication and developmental needs. Throughout my academic journey, I gained invaluable experience working with children of various ages. I have been a dedicated babysitter for many years, providing loving and attentive care to children ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Additionally, my role as a tutor in public schools across New York City allowed me to develop effective educational and support strategies, ensuring each child's unique needs were met. In my free time, I enjoy activities that I can often share with the children I care for, such as baking delicious treats, knitting fun projects, and writing creative stories. I also love taking walks, especially when the weather is nice.
