About Maritza

As a mother of four and volunteer children's ministry leader Maritza has had a passion for children for quite some time. Maritza has cared for many children. She has experience in childcare settings, aftercare, and summer camp. Before becoming a mother Maritza coached an all girls softball team. Maritza has also volunteered as a tutor on Saturday mornings at Hutcheson Elementary School. Maritza is an early care and learning professional with experience caring for children ranging from infant to age 10. She desires to give them love and attention with a belief that those things are key in raising healthy happy children. Since becoming a mother she is an advocate of keeping children active, engaged, and outside often. Maritza currently serves as an ambassador for Prevent Child Abuse Georgia. Although her Bachelor's Degree is in Criminal Justice, Maritza loves children and desires to have a positive impact in their lives.
