About Marissa

Hi, I'm Marissa! I am 24 years old and a graduate from the University of Alabama! I am currently in graduate school for Mental Health Counseling at Kean Ocean! I have worked with children for my entire life. My most recent job experience was an ABA Therapist, which I worked with children on the spectrum to teach them basic skills they will use in their everyday life to help with their cognitive and motor functions! I was also a cheerleading coach. I worked with young children from ages 4-13 everyday, teaching them cheerleading and all the responsibilities of being on a team. I have been in childcare since I was 15 years old. Some skills I have are a deep knowledge in allergies and cooking. I myself am gluten so I am able to follow a special diet. By doing ABA, I am also trained to understand children's actions and teach them strategies to be their best possible selves! I am fun loving and caring. Making connections with all of the children I work with is the reason I do what I do!
