About Marissa

As a teacher's assistant and aunt of 10 nieces and nephews, I love spending time with kids. I know when to provide discipline, when to use redirection, hurdle help, and when a child just needs some TLC. I've been an aunt most of my life and babysitting for nearly 20 years. I was a children's ski instructor through my teens and early twenties. A few years ago, I moved in with my sister while her husband traveled for work to help her raise my niece. It was extremely rewarding seeing her talk, crawl, and walk for the first time, among many other firsts. Seeing children develop and grow into people is an honor. For me, being there for a milestone in a small person's life is a gift. For your childs safety, I'm certified in CPR and first aid. I have a background in cooking and tutoring ages 5-11. I like to keep children active and engaged. I look forward to spending time with your children and am open to nanny positions.
