About Marissa

Hi! I'm Marissa, a San Diego native currently spending a few months in Marin County and looking for part-time and occasional childcare opportunities. I have 20+ years of childcare experience with children from infancy through adolescence. I'm also a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) with extensive pediatric experience, including 8 years as a COTA/L working with children with moderate-to-severe autism. I recently completed Learning Without Tears training for Pre-K through 2nd grade. I can provide additional support with handwriting, fine motor skills, pre-writing, pencil grasp, letter formation, and school readiness through fun, age-appropriate activities. I'm available for part-time care, date nights, occasional care, and family support. I'm patient, nurturing, dependable, CPR/First Aid certified, fluent in Spanish, and have excellent references available upon request. I look forward to connecting with families in Marin County!
