About Marissa

Get Reading and Math tutoring from a licensed teacher! I have my M. Ed. In Special Education and am currently teaching in an elementary school setting. I also have a strong background in various phonics methods and am familiar with elementary math concepts.! I have training in Orton-Gillingham, Fountas and Pinnel and LETRs techniques for reading and phonics. I also work closely with students of all reading abilities and am knowledgeable in state standards for reading. I also have experience with various math programs, including TouchMath and ST Math. I also have classroom experience teaching elementary math to all grades and abilities. I have a Master's degree in special education and have training in classroom management, applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy, behavior management, and study skills.
