About Marissa

I am the type of person who can't stand to see others down, I love cheering people up. I often do that by either trying to make them laugh, or give them comfort, such as a snack, hug, or space. I have been around kids my whole life, my first niece was born when I was 7 years old, and I have taken care of and watched her and her three other siblings since. I have taken care of kids from all ages, and have dealt with several meltdowns/ tantrums. I am very active, so being outside with the kids will be no problem. I have my own car, and I have had my license for 3 years, no tickets, accidents, etc. I am not CPR certified but know how to do it. I have volunteered with the Children's Ministry at my church for three years. I sometimes lead class on Sundays, which allows me to get teaching experience. I am currently working towards my Elementary Education Degree and I am going to Cornerstone University this fall to finish up my credits.
