My name is Marissa. I am a Certified Elementary Education teacher. I have an excellent record in tutoring with 20 years of experience teaching and tutoring. I am a Native Spanish teacher (ESL) for over 22+ years and a Bi-lingual translator in English and Spanish. I believe strong reading, writing and math skills are necessary foundation for educational success. My goal is to present material in a way that the student will understand the basic and be able to move to the next level with confidence. I also focus on fluency comprehension reading, math word problem and spelling to build self esteem and confidence. I have been teaching phonics as the basic of building strong engaged readers for numbers of years in Elementary classroom setting. May skills are involved in learning to read including sounding out letters phonics words, pronunciation, vocabulary and sight words. I tutor Virtual( Remotely) Due to Covid-19 My Virtually lessons are the same as in person. Thanks Marissa
