About Marissa

Hello parents! My name is Marissa and I am an experienced, creative, energetic, nurturing, responsible caregiver with a passion for working with children, especially the little ones! Children are full of natural curiosity and I firmly believe that it is the responsibility of a caregiver not only to protect and provide basic care but also to encourage a child to actively explore and make sense of the world around them. That said, I am a big proponent of regular trips to the playground, the park, the library, the beach or any other place where new adventures can be found! I am a natural teacher and love to read and sing as well. I am additionally a licensed social worker and currently in grad school for my MSW, graduating in December but can give about a year long commitment, give or take. If interested, I'd love to chat!
