About Marissa

Howdy! My name is Marissa and I absolutely love working with kids!! I am a dance teacher and choreographer by trade but I also spend a lot of my time with my church community and my family. I volunteer in the kids ministry at church and have worked at Life Time Kids Academy for a year. While working in a day care has taught me a lot about a wide variety of kids' needs and family desires, I am looking to build less but more connected relationships with a family or two versus watching a bunch of different kids for a small amount of time. I love reading, writing, and mathematics as well as teaching kids about getting up and moving their bodies, whether thats through dancing or getting outdoors when it cools down! I am also a Christian so His values and His word are my Light and Purpose here :)
