Hello!! My name is Marissa and I am currently a graduate student at the University of Central Florida studying history. I have worked with children since I was 12 years old. In high school I worked for my local history center's summer camp. In 2020 I worked at a daycare as an after school counselor. For two years I was a nanny/tutor for two boys age 11 and 14 but unfortunately had to leave due to graduate school opportunities. I love connecting with kids and making their time spent away from their parents enjoyable as possible. Most of the memories you make as a child stay with you forever so my goal is to make it as fun as possible. In my free time I love reading, playing sports and hanging out with my friends.

Marissa has been the nanny/tutor to my 11 year old son for 6 months. During the Covid pandemic we had my son stay at home and do online school. With Marissa he has all A's, and is incredibly happy. She takes him to his baseball practice, helps keep our house clean, and supports with our dogs. We are taking a short pause because we will be traveling a lot this summer, but when he returns to school we will for sure have her stay in the afternoons with him. She makes sure all work is completed and helps our son keep a great attitude.
