About Marissa

If you have the opportunity to hire Marissa, you are truly so lucky. I genuinely couldn’t recommend her more highly. She has been such an incredible part of our family, and finding someone like her is something I will always feel incredibly grateful for. Marissa has been our full-time nanny since February 2024, when our son was just 2 months old. she has played such a huge role in his growth and development. She is patient, loving, funny, silly, dependable, hardworking, smart, and just an all-around wonderful person. What has always stood out to me most is how present she is with our son. I have never once seen her sitting on her phone while she’s caring for him. She is constantly engaging with him — reading, singing, dancing, playing, teaching, going on adventures, and making everyday moments fun. She has also helped introduce our son to Spanish, which has been such a special bonus! She is also unbelievably reliable. She has never been late a single day — she’s actually usually 5 minutes early. And I have never, even for a second, worried about our son’s safety when he is with her, whether they are at home or out and about. That kind of trust is priceless. We are moving, which is unfortunately the ONLY reason Marissa is available. Believe me, I have tried everything to convince her to come with us, but I can’t blame her for choosing to stay! If we weren’t moving, I would want Marissa to stay with our family for years. She has become so much more than a nanny to us — she is someone we trust completely and someone our son absolutely adores. So genuinely, if you’re considering hiring her, do it. And treat her well. You will be incredibly lucky to have her caring for your children. We know we have been.
