Hello. My name is Marisa and I'm a certified elementary + preschool teacher, private tutor, and childcare provider. I am a professional with 10+ years of teaching experience and 15+ years of childcare experience. I've been a SAHM for the past few years but I'm currently looking to pick up some weekend childcare work (Fri-Sun). Please feel free to contact me if you need weekend help.

This was my first time ever hiring a babysitter, and she really put my mind at ease. We’re visiting from out of town and needed a babysitter for our 3 month old. She was very communicative, on time, and took great care of our son. Would highly recommend her!

Our kid loved Marisa and woke up very happy and rested the next day. Marisa shared the creative play she shared with our kid and communicated clearly leading up to and during the job. 

Marisa watched our 2.5 year old and 6 month old twice while we were on vacation in Maine. Our girls loved her! Great communication, punctual, caring and even brought a bag of toys for our older daughter to play with for the evening. Will use again when in the area.

Marisa watched our 8 Mo while we were on vacation in Maine for a wedding and we are so grateful we found her! She eased my mama heart and sent lots of updates since this was our first time using Care. She was so sweet with our baby and even brought some of her own toys so he had new stimulation. She also left us a book that he particularly enjoyed! I would recommend her to anyone for reoccurring sitting or a one-time thing like we did. Thank you Marisa! 

Marisa is an excellent caregiver - incredibly responsible, competent, and thoughtful. We hired her to look after five young children (approx ages 2-4) during our week long vacation with two other families. She went above and beyond to give both the kids and parents a wonderful experience. We were able to relax and go on outings knowing our kids were in excellent hands, and came back to a tidy and calm house. The kids had a great time - my 3 year old daughter in particular adored Marisa and can't stop talking about how much fun they had. Marisa handled all the toddler tears, diapers, and messy meals with a calm, caring, and positive approach. She is a total pro and I highly recommend her (and would of course happily hire her again!).

Marisa was an outstanding child-carer: patient, enthusiastic, friendly, imaginative, firm when necessary...we wish we lived closer to her so that we could  engage more often.  We hired her during our vacation and noticed that the children blossomed under her care, even in a short two-week period.  She told them things like "use your words", techniques that we are now implementing, and which has helped with their behavior and expression.  Thank you Marisa for everything!

Marisa is an amazing professional with a big loving heart for children. I have three little children (ages 4,3 and 1), and they all really enjoy being with her. It's hard to find a child care professional that a parent can trust, and Marisa is really dependable and trustworthy. Knowing that your child is safe and having a good time (with the right boundaries) when parents are away is everything!

We are so thankful to have Marisa in our son's life. She has an amazing innate sense with kids and her training in childhood development shines through her playing with and care of our son. She is dependable, easy to talk with and respects our family's (read: our toddler's!) schedules, and always let's us know how their time went when we get back without us prompting.

Marisa was an amazing sitter for our young twins. She was attentive and caring, and they simply adored her. She's everything you could want in a sitter. 

We hired Marisa to watch our kids, ages 3 and 1, during our vacation in Maine. She was fantastic--prompt, professional, smart, kind. Our kids loved her from the moment they met her! She has such an easy way around children and clearly loves being around them. My 3-year-old couldn't stop talking about what fun they had! We wish we could take her home with us! 

Marisa was wonderful with my twin boys! She has watched them from birth to 4 years old. She is always doing fun activities to keep them entertained. We love her!
