About Marisa

Hello! I am an older career nanny, with 20 years of paid nanny & childcare experience. I am a certified birth & postpartum doula as well, with a focus on supporting families while welcoming a new baby into the mix. I also provide overnight support to help the whole family get the sleep needed to thrive. I have experience with many different families, mostly working with newborns, toddlers, & elementary aged children. I also have experience as an infant/toddler daycare teacher. I believe in doing interactive activities that help provide a strong foundation for learning, & also encourage solo imaginative play, all while teaching kids values & skills that will continue to help them throughout their lives. I prefer to keep open communication with parents, & do my best to work alongside them so everyone's needs & expectations are met. Children teach me just as much as I try to teach them, and it's an honor to be a small part of your family! I look forward to hearing from you!
