I tutor students in Algebra and Prealgebra. I also offer free half hour trial sessions over Zoom. One thing you should know about me is that I am an IRSC Engineering student. I am in my final semester for my Associates Degree. I like tutoring because I enjoy seeing that "Aha!" moment when students grasp new concepts. Oftentimes, all it takes is a different perspective. I started tutoring when I was in Algebra II in highschool. We had a first year teacher of the course, and many students weren't on the same wavelength as she was. Since I had a good handle on the material, I began assisting my classmates in my free time. My skills include listening to a students needs, finding a different approach to make it click, and affirming good habits.
