About Marina

Marina has been with our family for almost 9 years, since my first son was just 3 months old. My children are now almost 7 and 9 and no longer need a full time nanny. This echoes her previous few reviews because she is so wonderful that she stays with her families long term! I feel so lucky every day that I found Marina, she is everything I would wish for someone other than me taking care of my children. I remember early in our relationship that her daughter told me that Marina was meant to work with children, and it is true. You will not find a more loving and warm individual who also provides structure, reliability and consistency. Marina has always made sure to respect our schedules and our rules. She taught both boys Spanish, as well as helped with their early reading skills. She does activities with them and makes sure they get plenty of outside time. She always makes sure the play areas are tidy and helps with laundry. She is always helping with extra tasks around the house, without any prompting or asking. She is flexible and works with my inconsistent schedule. We are going to miss Marina so much. I am happy to provide personal references to help her find another position.
