About Mari

I'm patient, dependable, and attentive. Animals are my friends, which is part of why I'm vegetarian. My apartment doesn't allow pets, but I've volunteered with Muttville, a senior dog rescue, and regularly care for former landlords' and friends' dogs and cats. I love connecting with animals and keeping them happy and comfortable, while giving owners peace of mind their pets are in good hands. It started with Muttville, and it's been on and off since, but caring for animals has stayed a constant thread. Spare time: yoga, running (bonus if I get to bring a dog along!), swimming, biking, live music, museums, and exploring new spots around the city. I treat every pet like my own, showing up fully whether it's a long walk, a calm overnight, or just making sure they feel loved while you're away. Skills: walking small to medium dogs (I'm 5'1", though I've handled a Labrador just fine), calm overnight care, senior and blind dog experience from Muttville, and cat sitting.
