I have worked as a medical assistant and other healthcare roles in my career. I have a good understanding of the challenges that patients and families face today. I am educated with a BS degree in Health Systems. I have worked with a variety of cases, from those with Cancer, Alzheimer or Dementia that require supervision, medications management and activities of daily living support to those cases that need companionship, errands, transportation, facility review, medical appointments and hospital support. I have been working with several families over the years in different supportive roles.

We hired Marilyn to help my mom (65 yo) as she began to get weaker and less mobile from a long battle with cancer. Unfortunately, her health declined quickly and we had to switch to 24/7 caregivers about a month or so after Marilyn started part time. But Marilyn was such a blessing during that transition period. She became like a friend to my mom, and my mom appreciated how she would check in on her even when she wasn’t working. In addition to helping her in the house, she would take her on outings and was an amazing listening ear. She helped my mom navigate her palliative care plan and helped her choose a hospice agency that she would eventually need. Thank you, Marilyn, for playing such an important role in our mom’s last few months.
