I grew up on a farm in Joplin, MO. I used to show horses and dogs in 4-H growing up. When I moved to Kansas City, we bought some land in Smithville and built a little farm there. I continued to breed dogs and ride horses. When I graduated from high school in KC, I began working at one of the local districts and I got my associate's degree. Nowadays, I am found living in St. Joseph with my husband and our four cats (Hazel, Maryse, Taco, and Tuesday) and two golden retrievers (Ellie & Tiny Tina). I currently substitute for the district I've worked at for seven years and board dogs at my own home by MWSU in St. Joseph. My house has a huge fenced-in yard.
