I have loved languages all my life! I began learning French and German in childhood and continued in high school and college. I spent two years in Germany, one as an exchange student and 3 months in France. I know some Spanish as well, thanks to immersion experiences in Mexico and Costa Rica and years as an ESL teacher. I taught French in elementary school for 7 years, then English as a Second Language in elementary school for 15 years. I love working with children and making language learning fun! I am currently tutoring a third grader in conversational German. I often incorporate songs into my teaching. I also play piano and guitar. I am interested in teaching online or at a student's home.
