About Marilu

I worked with MJHS hospice patients in New York for 5 and a half years. I handled the scheduling and payroll of our independent team on top of working as a home health aide. It was not an agency but a group of vetted people who had substantial experience in the field. My responsibilities entailed updating the hospice nurses on the patients' condition, wound care, personal hygiene, medication refills, giving medication, feeding when necessary. In the latter part of my work in New York, I was not just an aide but became her personal assistant.
